Long weekend
A big event on Friday was followed by some serious celebrating later that night. Saturday was then reserved for lying around and watching tv. Alex and I had dinner at eppies and then went to the blue whale to look at used books. I was able to restrain myself and didn't buy anything!

Scrabble time
Saturday Alex and I decided to go to Target in Waynesboro buy Scrabble. While we were there we found these hilarious general tso's chicken chips...ew. America, this is why you're fat. Then on the drive home we saw smoke on the mountainside. Apparently there were several fires in Albemarle county on Saturday. Then we came back to Alex's for wine and Scrabble. He beat me last night but I came back with two wins today!

Presents from Mom
Today has been such a great day. To top off a wonderful day of getting something when I least expected it, I came home from work to find a package waiting for me from my Mom. She sent me some cute shirts and a card for Valentine's Day along with this adorable apron! I love it so much. She knew that I've been wanting one for a while now and this one could not be cuter. Thanks, Mom!

Tango Fire!
Camille and I joined Margarita and a group of her friends for Tango Fire at the Paramount Theater tonight. One of our participating families gave Margarita a bunch of tickets for free! This show was really awesome (and really hot) and the theater was beautiful--I had never been inside before. When we left it was snowing. Definitely a great night!
Lots of pink and red
Alex and I went to the mall last night for some Valentine's Day present shopping. After we made a purchase at Victoria's Secret (Happy Valentine's Day to me!) we ran into Bath & Body Works 5 minutes before their closing time to sniff all of the candles. We frantically ran around sniffing the candles but decided that their scents weren't worth it. All of their scents smelled like cheap perfumes to me. Their heart balloons are fun though!

Vegan pumpkin cheesecake
Good but not amazing. I feel like people who always eat vegan food would appreciate it while those who usually eat cheese may like it but not love it. Here's the recipe. Who's going to help me eat it? I also made spicy black bean dip and spinach and artichoke dip with chips and carrots for the superbowl. Yum.
