I'm new to this...

I finally decided to start a blog. At first I was hesitant because I'd rather have writing on paper pages than online. I really like to feel pages and read words in ink rather than pixels. Hopefully this will work out and I'll have relatively interesting things to say...it will be a fun little experiment. Now for the difficult choice of which font to use. I think I'll go with Arial.

Today I had an interview for a receptionist position. I'm starting to feel less nervous going into interviews because I have had so many. Hopefully I will hear good news some time soon. I don't really mind this 10 hour work week lifestyle though...and although I can't wait to get a "real" job, I am definitely going to miss this.

On June 1, 2009 I resolved to abstain from purchasing food and beverages at restaurants until I get a full-time job. As of today, I have gone one whole month without breaking this rule! It has been a bit easier than I expected but that can be attributed mostly to the generosity of my friends and an Arch's gift card left over from my 22nd birthday (thanks, Casey). Let's see if I can keep it up.
